Become a Founding Family
Our goal is to open in August 2026, aligned with the start of the school year.
In the meantime, we’re focused on licensing, planning thoughtful renovations, hiring an exceptional team, and designing the kind of programs that will make this school truly different.
We do not offer rolling admissions—all students will start together at the beginning of the year to support strong classroom culture and connection from day one.

- Enrollment is for the full school year.
- Children must 3 years old by the start of the school year at time of enrollment.
- School hours are 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday
- No half-day or part-time options are offered
- Kindlers must be fully toilet trained before starting school
- Space is limited; enrollment is capped to preserve small class sizes
We plan to enroll around 60 students in our founding year, divided between two age-based programs:
Kindlers (Ages 3–6): Approximately 32–36 students
Embers (Ages 6–9): Approximately 24–28 students
We’re committed to maintaining low student-to-guide ratios—generally between 10:1 and 14:1—to ensure each child is deeply supported, seen, and able to thrive.
Rather than maxing out our space, we’re starting with the right size to create a calm, connected environment and a strong foundation for our community to grow from.
We believe tuition should reflect the quality of what’s being built—and the integrity of how it’s being built.
Kindling Academy is not a budget school, and it’s not an elite institution. We’re a mission-driven, wellness-centered, intentionally designed school built to serve families who value purpose, health, creativity, and community.
We’re pricing tuition in a way that allows us to:
- Pay teachers well and invest in their continued growth
- Create safe, beautiful, non-toxic learning environments
- Maintain small class sizes and rich, hands-on programs
- Grow intentionally—without needing outside investors or cutting corners
Annual Tuition:
Annual Tuition: $25,000
Paid in two installments (bi-annually)
Equivalent to about $2,080/month
Tuition is spread across 12 months, even though our school year runs for 10. This allows us to pay our Guides fairly and provide them with time over the summer to reflect, train, and improve the program for the year ahead.
A non-refundable deposit will be required upon enrollment to secure your child’s spot. This deposit will be applied toward the total tuition amount.
