Kindling opened in September 2026 with a small founding class of kids ages 4 to 8. We’re now accepting applications for Fall 2027, when we’ll serve ages 3 to 12, depending on enrollment.
You can apply at any time. We make enrollment decisions for the following school year in April.

Apply anytime. Send us your application whenever you're ready.
Within a week. We'll reach out to set up a family conversation over Zoom with our founders. You pick a time that works for you.
Within a week of your conversation. If it feels like a good fit, Silvia, our Head of School, will reach out to set up a time to meet your child in person.
April. We make all our decisions for fall and let every family know, so complete the application steps before then.
- Enrollment is for the full school year.
- Children must 4 years old by the start of the school year at time of enrollment for the 26/27 school year
- 27/28 School year: Students must be 3 years old by the start of the school year.
- School hours are 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday
- No half-day or part-time options are offered
- Kindlers must be fully toilet trained before starting school
- Space is limited; enrollment is capped to preserve small class sizes

We don't keep a traditional waitlist. Each year we make our decisions by looking at everyone who has applied, so you're welcome to apply again for the next year.
This year we have one mixed-age classroom for kids ages 4 to 8.
In fall 2027 we're opening a classroom for ages 3 to 6, one for ages 6 to 9, and a classroom for ages 9 to 12 once there are enough families interested.
Every classroom stays small, with no more than one guide for every 10 children. We're not trying to fill every seat. We'd rather start smaller with strongly aligned parents and grow from there.
Tuition for the 2027–2028 school year is $1,650 per month, paid over 10 months, and goes up a small amount each year.
Founding families' tuition will also go up each year, but they'll always pay less than families who join later.
Every family, founding families included, pays a $500 enrollment fee and a $500 supplies fee each year.
We have a few spots this school year, but adding a new child mid-year changes the class, so we're careful about it. If you're hoping to start this year, email us at admin@kindling.academy and tell us about your child.
